Beavers Information

  • Weekly staff meetings:
    • Beavers staff: Thursdays, 2:00-3:00pm
    • All CCC staff: third Wednesday of each month, 1:30-3:00pm
  • Arriving by 9:15am will ensure that your child does not miss circle time or morning snack (which is served at 9:30am).
  • Please label all of your child's food containers to avoid any confusion. (Tip: try printing out a sheet of address labels with your child's name on them. They're easy to stick on everything, including a lunchbox and the wrapped items inside.)
  • Parent forms are available for medical doses, vacation notices, requests for schedule changes, etc.
  • Please park safely and legally. The Fire Department has complained about cars parking in red zones on Chester Ave (e.g., in the cul-de-sac south of the CCC). The campus will be issuing tickets to anyone parked in the red or staying for longer than one hour.

   Other School Information
  • The Pasadena Education Network (PEN) is a grassroots organization of parents. Their mission is to promote family participation in Pasadena's public education by reaching out to families of preschool-aged children to help them overcome misinformation and opt in to public schools. PEN believes that families should have easy access to credible information about public schools from a trusted source in order to make an informed decision about education for their children, and thus provides extensive up-to-date documentation on all the public schools in the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD).
  • The Pasadena Area Private, Independent, and Charter Schools have also organized as a group to help parents sort through those options. They have coordinated their admittance schedules both amongst themselves and with the PUSD.
